Happy New Year!

Hope everyone's had a nice relaxing break! Or if not relaxing, productive. I've made a tentative schedule for next semester, which I'm sending out to everyone. If you don't receive an email from me with the schedule, let me know.

Good news for everyone: the Massachusetts state minimum wage went up again on January 1st, which means everyone gets a raise (not just those of you making minimum wage)! Your pay rate is determined by your year in school:
First Year: $8.00/hr (Minimum Wage )
Second Year: $8.25/hr (Minimum Wage +$0.25)
Third Year: $8.50/hr (Minimum Wage +$0.50)
Fourth Year: $8.75/hr (Minimum Wage +$0.75)
Fifth Year: $9.00/hr (Minimum Wage +$1.00)
Sixth Year: $9.25/hr (Minimum Wage +$1.25)
Graduate students: $9.50/hr
Supervisors: $10.50
Hope that makes your holidays a little happier! These pay rates are the same whether you're work study or paid directly by the library.

This has been edited -- we had some confusion in the office over what the new minimum wage was. Sorry!
